There are total 9000 vacancies to be filled up for the RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher this time. Out of 9000 vacancies, 8162 vacancies are assigned for Non-TSP Area and 838 for Senior Teacher Vacancies for TSP Area.

Age limit :- as on 01-Jan-2018

• minimum : 18 years

• maximum : 40 yeasr

Education qualification :

•Education Qualification for Hindi, English,   Sanskrit, Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi & Math   Teacher:

Graduate or equivalent examination with the concerned subject as optional subject, and degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.

•Education Qualification for Science Teacher :-

Graduate or equivalent exam with at least two of the following subjects as optional subject: Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biochemistry & Biotechnology, and Degree/Diploma in Education recognized by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education)

•Education Qualification for Social Science     Teacher :

Graduate or equivalent examination with at least two of the following subjects as optional subject: History, Geography, Economics, Political

Science, Sociology, Public Administration and Philosophy, and Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education.
